I strongly recommend doing a love ceremony on one of these days if you are unmarried, or remarrying with your spouse if you are married. Yes I am serious. You do not need to go thru a divorce and a re-registering of the marriage, just conduct a small, private ceremony in which you state you intentions before your spouse and God to end the past relationship and begin a new one on that day. You may get new rings, tie a knot, do a dance, eat cake, read vows, anything. But make the intention clear, and know that you have ended the past relationship.
