So I just found out that the pythagorean numerology which i relied on is not the most accurate numerology. Chaldean numerology is apparently considered the only accurate one. From testing it on myself, I would agree it is definately very accurate, and also more informative than the pythagorean kind. I myself do not agree that it is the only accurate numerology.
So now I'd like to share it with you. Here is my copy-paste guide from all over the internet, giving you a simple way to calculate your name and birth numbers and read about their meanings and the fortune in them. I would HIGHLY recommend using the Chaldean method for setting important dates, such as marriage and setting up businesses etc.
The single digit number also apply to reduced compound numbers. For example, if your number is 27, you look into both 27 and 9.
I found that many sources use different ways of counting, so if you find that the one below doesnt please you, try a different way. For example, reduce each name before adding up to the total. Also, I myself use both the pythagorean and the chaldean interpretation of numbers for a more rounded view. While Chaldean numerology gives a good insight into the esoteric meaning and the destiny of the numbers, pythagorean numerology gives us an idea of the personality traits of the numbers. So I have collected here for you all the most reliable and accurate sources i have found, like an encyclopedia of numerology.

How to calculate your numbers:

It is a good addition to the stuff thats on this post. But if you want to know the method for calculating it yourself, here it is:
1. The first name
2. The way the name is written most often
Let's look at Tiger Woods as an example:
1. TIGER = 4 + 1 + 3 + 5 + 2 = 15
2. TIGER WOODS = 4 + 1 + 3 + 5 + 2 + 6 + 7 + 7 + 4 + 3 = 42
Now, look for the interpretation attached to each total, 15 & 42. Its that simple!
Most names are compatible with some birth dates, and hostile to others. I have referred to these with the words “prominent 2” and so on. Here is what I mean:
The prominent numbers for Tiger Woods' birth date 30th December 1975 would be:
1. The single digit total of the date alone: 3 + 0 = 3
2. The single digit total of the date, month and year: 3 + 0 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 9 + 7 + 5 = 19, further reduced to 1 + 9 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1
So the two prominent numbers for Tiger's birth date would be 3 & 1.
Read 15 for first name 'Tiger' which includes the line: Rough weather at home, for those with a prominent 3 in the birth date.
Read 42 for full name 'Tiger Woods' which includes the line: But people with a prominent 3 in their birth charts will see heaps of confusion in their personal lives.
So, as you can see, there is an overall brilliant effect of the 15 & 42 on Tiger, but because he has the prominent 3 in his birthdate, his personal life has presented him with a series of challenges.
Just remember that the name is not reduced to a single digit, but the birth date is.

Pythagoras called the 2 “Odd and Even” because 2 is an even number made up of two 1’s, each of which is odd. This is a number of partnership, companionship, and marriage. Eve was sent to be a helpmate for Adam. She came second, was 2. The 2 is a wonderful companion. The number faces and bends toward the 1 because the 2 wants to help. It feels incomplete by itself. The 2 is associated with pairs of things, as is readily seen by the Roman two, II. That is also 11, which adds up to 2, but on a higher level. Where 2 is a follower, 11 stands on its own two feet, showing leadership ability. The 2 is stronger on Earth than the 11 for its base is straight on the ground: 2.
An unbalanced collecting 2 may become a “collecto-maniac” (kleptomaniac). The word “kleptomaniac” has the Soul’s Urge (vowel count) of 22, twice the power of 2, obviously in the negative side of the vibration. If you look closely at 2, it is actually the upper half of a 3. It is like a plant with roots deep in the ground, showing only its outer self. This gives 2’s great sensitivity. Their feelings go as deep as the roots of the plant and what they feel hurts keenly (Morals and Dogma, 362).
The 2 also gives a tendency to hide things. Negative 2’s tend to be sneaky, and cover their acts with lies: LIAR (22). Like 3’s, 2’s are good talkers, except that the bottom half of the 2 is buried, so 2 hides the truth; the 2 may say one thing (upper part of 2) and mean another (buried part). The 4 is devoted to family, community, church, and country.
The square is closed in on all sides, so the 4 will set up its own limitations and sometimes feel boxed in. But it does not mind working nine to five in an office room because that affords a feeling of security. The 4’s will work hard for a secure future. They want to set a firm foundation early in life. The word SABBATH is 17/8: the self (1) resting (7) to renew strength (8).
Those with 7’s prominent in their charts need more rest than other people. They can’t take loud music, crowds, noise, or commotion. They maintain their balance through serenity. The 7’s stand straight, tall, and dignified. They are usually conservative in manner, thinking, and dress. The 8 represents the law “As Above, So Below.” This vibration understands
the Earth (o- lower circle) and the intellectual plane ( -upper circle). This means it can take an idea and make it work on the material level. Both 8’s and 3’s are strong personalities, but 3’s are more extroverted. They are the performers, while 8’s are more conservative and are the business people. The 3 is 8 with the left side removed. It is like two halfmoons letting their light shine. Personality plus. Humor. Fun-loving. The 8 is enclosed, self-contained power. The 3 will spend on impulse; the 8 will save, and is good with money.
On its side, 8 is a picture of the balances: ∞. This means it has good judgment and a good dose of “common sense.” The 8 balances good health, strength, and stamina, and is found in the name total of many athletes. Many musicians also have this number as it reflects their fine sense of rhythm. But anyone with an 8 for a name total will find it is a better name for business than for the performing arts.
Some people are aware that the number 888 refers to Jesus, but few know why. The numerals that correspond to the letters of Jesus’ name in Greek are 10, 8, 200, 70, 400, and 200 which, when added together, total 888. The 8 is also a number of resurrection because Jesus arose on the eighth day, and 8 is a picture of “the below that rises above.” It came to represent the law “As Above, So Below,” for by studying man and the world around us, we come to understand the worlds above—the Universe and spiritual man.
Ancient man discovered the shape of the 8 to be the orbit of planets. It has since been proven that it is the natural path of activity for people and animals as well. In 1928 a professor of zoology at the University of Kansas, Asa A. Shaeffer, observed that people who have been lost in the woods or blindfolded really do travel in the pattern of the figure 8. So do swimmers and drivers who have been blindfolded, and pilots who are lost in a fog; all will travel in spirals. Shaeffer concluded after many experiments which included animals and even amoebas, that spiral motion is a universal property of living matter in form (Why Do Some Shoes Squeak?, 221).
Pythagoras called the 8 “Light and Darkness.” The darkness is the selfish material-minded moneymaker, and the light is the spiritual-minded who offer light to those in the dark. This knowledge of spirit and matter gives the 8 inspiration, leadership ability, and even genius. It is 4 plus 4; the organizational abilities of the 4 doubled—44: Mastermind. Prosper. Unlimited. 9 people are not stubborn, but they are determined to get what they want, and there is a difference. There's a strong tendency toward vanity. At least that's what it appears to be on the surface. But 9 people are not vain, even though they are admittedly almost constantly concerned with their appearance. The true root of this attitude is fear of rejection, because, beneath all their bravado, 9 people inwardly tremble with a lack of confidence. As self-assertive as they may seem, they need continual reassurance that they are liked--respected--admired---and loved. For all the pushiness and independent airs of 9 people, they're secretly very unsure of themselves. Generous to a fault and normally extravagant (unless the Sun Sign cancels this trait most of the time…although it will still be evident on rare occasions in anyone born as number 9)--9people need no lessons in giving. The 9 is emotionally affected by people and surroundings. It lets its deep feelings affect it adversely. Hermes was considered to be the wisest of all philosophers and brought
light to this world in the form of wisdom. The 9 is a reflection of his lamp
that lights the way; so 9 holds the knowledge of all numbers before it. This
endows 9 with understanding and a feeling of brotherly love. So it is a
humanitarian number.
A 9 in the Birth Path or total name number is a sign that the person is
born to give loving service in a profession or in the arts. It is able to draw
from the attributes of the preceding numbers and therefore understand
and form any character desired. So 9 is called “the stage where the drama
unfolds.” This is also because 9 is emotional, hence, “emote.” This is the
vibration of actors and some politicians. This is why some actors aspire
toward politics, and why politicians are great orators. Both serve the public

in a reversed position from each other. The remainder, when reduced,
will always be 9.

If you add the digits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, the total is 45, which
totals to 9 (The Key to the Universe, 323-4).

Ordain it, and it will materialize. ReplyDeleteDid you also know that, almost at the same time, another author called Sepharial, used a very similar type of numerology which, according to him, wasn't chaldean but, in fact, derived from Hebrew Kabala?
In the second chapter on Hebrew Numerology (!!!) of his "The Numbers Book", Sepharial delivers the following correspondences between letters and numbers:
1= A I J Q Y
2= B C K R
3= G L S
4= D M T
5= E N
6= U V W X
7= O Z
8= F H P
9= Th Ts Tz
As you can see, letters "C", "H" and "X" all have different values when compared to Cheiro's system. However, the most important thing in this table is the addition of the number 9 (which is non-existent in Cheiro's Numerology) corresponding to combinations of letters. These letter combinations are actually, as I have proven in my short article debunking modern "Chaldean" Numerology, the sounds of HEBREW letters transliterated into latin. As none of the hebrew letters summing 9 (Teth and Tzaddi) have survived into the latin alphabet, it is in fact pretty logical why there isn't any letter corresponding to 9 in modern chaldean numerology.
This proves three things:
1) There isn't only one system of "Chaldean" Numerology. In fact, by the 1920's another very important author and occultist, Sepharial, developed his own system of numerology which he never called "chaldean" but, in fact, hebrew.
2) Modern "Chaldean" Numerology has nothing with the "Chaldeans". It is simply based on Hebrew Kabalah and the correspondences between hebrew and latin letters of the alphabet.
3) Contrary to what Cheiro wrote – and modern authors continue to write – about why the number 9 isn't used due to its "divine nature", number 9 isn't used simply because the hebrew letters that corresponded to 9 (=Teth) and 90 (=Tzaddi) didn't survive into our alphabet. As such, there is nothing transcendant about number 9, and the reason why it isn't used is, in fact, quite logical.

DeleteWhat you are writing makes sense, and so far I am keeping a very open mind. I will make up my own mind about your point of view after I have done my own research. The thing about the number 9 and its letters makes sense. However, about whether the numerology is Chaldean or Hebrew: Without having looked into this issue specifically just yet, my common sense tells me that what we call it is irrelevant, because it was a science used in both of those civilisations, and the numerology probably had older roots than both of them anyway. It was just the science at the time, and so it was found in more than one civilisation. Geographically they are very close. Whether the hebrews or chaldeans take credit for it doesn't matter, since most likely none of them invented it. The more Ive researched ancient sciences the more Ive seen how they tie together and come from the same root and cannot be traced to an inventor or beginning. The Kabbalah was a continuation of the ancient wisdom accumulated at the time.
I will keep an open mind and happily read whatever else information and research you wanna share. Ive found that when it comes to the occult, it is best to not jump to any conclusions. Many different tools and systems can all work and be of profound use. Many opposing things can be true at the same time.

The main point in my explanations wasn't, however, whether the Kabalah is hebrew or chaldean, since – as you magnificently said – most probably they had inherited from other more ancient peoples using older alphabets (like, for instance, the Canaanites in Ugarit). My main point is that chaldean numerology as applied to our latin alphabet isn't "millennia old" as some authors like to say, but in fact a modern creation (as of the beginning of the 20th century) being based on previous Kabalistic knowledge. In fact, Sepharial's books point exactly in that direction.
Now if you want to make some experiments with other 'chaldean' systems, like Sepharial's or even mine (as you can read in my article), you should try first with names containing the letters "C", "F", "H", "X" and "Y", as those are the only letters having different values as you change from one system to the other.
For your ease of reference, I'll list the different systems below:

I have a question regarding "birth date" and "birth charts". I noticed in your description of 27, you stated, "unsuitable for those with a prominent 2 or 7 in the birth date", but in other number descriptions, I noticed you stated "birth charts".
My first name works out to be 27 (Douglas) and my first/last name as 42. My prominent birth date alone is 1 and my m,d,y is 2. I am interpreting your 27 description, meaning just the date alone. My question is; Is my interpretation correct, or do I need to also include my full date of birth?

Amazed at the accuracy of your number system. In "The Hebraic Tongue Restored" The U, O, & W take the number 7 when at the beginning of a word and 6 at other times. The six is sacred therefore cannot be letter number one.I have never seen anyone explain the number 9. You agree with what i have found.
